Check out the cycle of number given below and try to strike
a coherency.
Unit digit of a Number ending
with digit 1 will always end with 0.
|
Unit digit of a Number ending with digit 1 will always end
with 1, degree of the number does not matter i.e. Unit digit of (81)23445
= 1
|
Unit digit of a Number ending
with digit 2 will always move in a cycle of 2, 4, 8, 6.
i.e 21 = 2
22 = 4
23 = 8
24 = 16
For Example (22)46 =
46/4 as cycle of 2 revolves with above mentioned four digits.
22 x 22 will end with 4 and 22 x
4 will end with 8, so we don’t need to multiply digits again and again we
just have to divide the degree of number with 4. So we will divide 46/4 and
get 2 as a remainder then we will check the second digit of above cycle which
is 4. So the answer will be 4.
